The Luxembourg fund finance team of Loyens & Loeff advised Bank of America in relation to the Luxembourg aspects of the $4.1 billion ESG-linked subscription credit facility to certain investment funds managed by The Carlyle Group.
This is the largest ESG-linked subscription credit facility in the US market so far and the first-ever to focus exclusively on promoting board diversity. The facility supports Carlyle’s objective of 30% diverse board directors across its portfolio companies.
The Loyens & Loeff team consisted of Vassiliyan Zanev, Maude Royer and Andres Montana.
